FacilitateWell

An innovative, creative and authentic facilitation programme rooted in critical thinking, embodied learning and radical relationships

FacilitateWell is an advanced programme for socially-engaged artists and social justice facilitators who want structured time, community and guidance to evolve their practice and themselves.

Through reflective inquiry, embodied exploration, and advanced creative group work, participants develop greater clarity, confidence, and integrity in how they hold spaces.

They leave with a more grounded sense of themselves, a refined artistic and relational practice, and a renewed capacity to facilitate with courage, nuance, and care

FacilitateWell is for practitioners who need:

  • Deep reflection space

To examine patterns, prejudices, values, privilege and blind spots.

  • Identity and self inquiry

Who am I in the room? What do I bring? What do I avoid? How do I remain deeply present?

  • Advanced group process work

Power, conflict, contracting, brave spaces, collective meaning-making, deep listening

  • Creative and embodied methodologies

Practices that deepen presence and relational intelligence

  • Creative critical reflection

Time and tools to reflect deeply for growth for you, and your participants

  • Practice that integrates neuroscience

Mindfulness approaches, nervous system regulation and how relationship dynamics impact practice

Programme Delivery

FacilitateWell is delivered over the course of 2 intensive weekends in South Wales. In between these weekends participants have the opportunity to book in for a 60-90 minute 1-1 coaching appointment online. Each cohort is invited to form a WhatsApp group for peer support and accountability going forward.

If you are interested and you would like to be put on the mailing list for the very first cohort in Autumn 2026, please drop me a line at ali@alifranks.com‍ ‍

Pricing details to follow.

(Two concessionary places will be available on a pay‑what‑you‑can basis for applicants experiencing financial hardship. These places are designed to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation for skilled practitioners seeking to deepen their work; I trust applicants to self‑select with honesty and care. Please email me further if this may apply to you).

Facilitator training for a complex and volatile world.

I am passionate about facilitation and with over 20 years in education and applied theatre I approach facilitation from a unique perspective. In my previous role in academia I wrote an MA in Applied Theatre which specialised in ‘critical facilitation’.

Since leaving academia I have grown this practice and moved my holistic approach to facilitation into a range of settings from arts and social justice spaces through to business and organisational spaces.

FacilitateWell is a rigorous and complete approach to advanced facilitator training that explores not only the mechanics of facilitating, but the ethics of exceptional facilitation, the wellbeing of the facilitator and participants, deep reflection for development, and embodied approaches to creating radical spaces of change.

If you would like to attend a FacilitateWell programme, join the mailing list for details about the very first cohort for FacilitateWell or organise for FacilitateWell in your place of work them please email me at ali@alifranks.com to start a conversation.
